Abstract

The primary purpose of this project is to create an "Implementation of Aadhar Card Based Electronic Polling System" that uses fingerprint recognition. To access fingerprints, we use the AADHAR card database. When voting in an election, finger vein capture can be utilised to complete the two-step authentication of the electronic voting process, allowing voters to vote via electronic ballot resets. Voting data and voter information can also be transmitted via the WIFI connection to a nearby database management unit. Fingerprint scanning is used to ensure security and to prevent forgeries, double voting, and other fraud. It also enhances the process's precision and speed. During elections, the user's ID and fingerprint must match in the supplied database or else he/she would be unable to cast a vote. If eligible, the user can cast a vote by pressing the number of his/her preferred candidate on the keypad, following which the LCD will display a confirmation message. Votes will be counted directly, allowing the electoral commission to announce results quickly and efficiently. If the detected pattern matches anyone in the given dataset, voting is granted. If the pattern does not match or duplicates a database entry, the access vote or the vote will be rejected.
